So I have not blogged in so long but the boredom of summer has really gotten to me. This summer is my first summer away from home and so far it has been pretty hard. I do know that it will be a great learning experience this summer. Update on my life my air is out in my house and it is hot as all get out in here. I forgot how it feels to be without air when it is 100 degrees outside, incase you don't know not good. So today I really want to talk about breaking plans. People who do not stick to plans they make really anger me. I am a very planned person and I can't stand a quick schedule change, speaking of schedule changes I have lost my pocket planner (which contains my life). Which is weird because I like to be spontaneous also. I have just decided my personality will never make sense haha. Apparently not only does it not make sense to me but not everybody likes it. Recently I have had to deal with a lot of drama at work that I do not appreciate at all. There is someone there who has decided they just don't like my personality and that is literally it. I asked this person why they did not like me and there response was because you have done everything. My question to you blog world is first of what the heck? and second really who has done everything? I still just not sure what she meant. True I have had a privileged life but I don't really know why that would make her hate me. Also if I am not mistaken when carrying on general conversation it is normal to share you own personal experiences as well to build the conversation. Thats how I was raised to talk to people listen and contribute. Well that is enough of my pointless ravings. Also I just realized I never proof read my blogs so don't judge.

So Tumblr and the picture challenge are a fail and by that I mean I failed. I am awful at keeping up on my blog but I thought it would be a good time to restart now. Today we had auditions for guard next year. I was really proud of myself because I wrote a really challenging flag routine. In my time at Liberty my flag skill has grown so much, honestly I may be better at flag than weapon now. With all the girls that are auditioning it looks like this is going to be an exciting season :) Also today I am starting a journey that I will fill you all in on later. Well now it is off to bed I am SOOOOOO TIRED!!!

This is the necklace my grandmother gave me. It was a gift for my grandmother from my grandpa. She gave it to me over break, it has her initials VRS. She said it was one of the first things she got with her new last name. I cried when she gave it to me.

I can now successfully almost play a song on guitar I just wanted to share my achievement with all of you. I can pretty much play Something Beautiful by Need to Breath. I am totally persevering to the still ultimate goal of I Want to Hold Your Hand.
Today I got to go out with some friends shopping and then enjoy an awesome super bowl party. Although many other people have been talking about how they did not appreciate the half time show by the Black Eyed Peas, I thought it was much better then it has been the past few years. Ever since the JT mishap it has seemed liked they have been making safe boring half time choices this was exciting and entertaining!!!!

Also I decided to start this 30 Day photo challenge. I was inspired to do this by my friend who does this on her blog and by the countless people on facebook doing it right now. The first day is:

So it is onward to another weekend of Mikado. Last weekend was a such a great experience I love the cast so much and am very blessed to be a part of it. I have a lot of auditions coming up so be in prayer for me if you can!!!! Also I would just like to say that girls night last night was so needed. I really really love being able to just get together and chill with my friends it always takes a weird week and makes it normal again. Last night I had some crazy dreams I wish I could tell you all about them but there are just some things you don't put on the Internet but lets just say they I am still freaked out by them and they were very really depictions of what my life could become, more like what my subconscious mind wants my life to become. And I think my mind wants what I want but what I want will never happen. Have I confused you enough already lol. On the puppy subject sir Quincy has been renamed chance and is not going to be our puppy :( but no worries we are looking for another baby to love!!!! Learning the guitar!!!!

This will not be a long post just one to let you all know that I had an awesome time tonight hanging out with some great friends. I again have been motivated to learn the guitar which I have tried to do twice before and have failed both times. This time though is different because tonight sitting in my room I actually almost perfected 3 chords. C,G, and E minor. Know I am pressing on to my ultimate goal and new years resolution to learn to play a full song preferably Beatles on the guitar while singing. Here we go resolution!!! So today starts my get good grades and learn the guitar journey.

Quincy

you would be glad to know that opening weekend went swimmingly. Being in the Mikado is the best opera experience I have had yet in my college career. The cast is awesome and everyone really works well together. Tomorrow I have an audition for next semesters opera and am in a tough place because my voice is just not working in the soprano range that it used to work in. Therefor I have no arias in my rep so it is either sing musical theater or a really cheesy easy art song that I won't sound good at anyway. So tomorrow I will have a debate up until 1 when we audition.

I want a puppy. There is no words to describe how badly I want one. I found the perfect dog, to let all of you know, but am trying to figure out if I will be able to get him. I have names him sir Quincy Hawthorne Astaire the 1st.

So it's a new semester I am embarking on chapter 21 search for self lol. Well anyway I am really starting to pray that God will lead me in the right direction and everyday he is helping me more and more. Since this semester started my life has been busy to say the least. I am in tech week for the opera Mikado and feel like I have not stopped since I got back. This is a great feeling believe it or not. I LOVE TO BE BOOKED. I love that super busy feeling it keeps me from getting sick. Sometimes I love the busy feeling so much that I overbook myself. Alright, self confession I love it so much that I ALWAYS overbook myself lol. This morning I am very excited and nervous to be performing in convo and as I sit here at 7:00 am I wonder A why am I up? B geisha? and C How will I ever sing Opera this morning lol Vocal warm up time.

Top 10 so far for 2011

So I know it's only been a little over a week in 2011 but I really wanted to share my top ten with you so far. It was so fun to do a top 10 last time and I just can't wait any longer to do it!!!!
Bali Mango Lotion
this new scent from Bath and Body is awesome its a little bit of summer in this cold weather and I have received so many complements on it. Pick up a small pre release bottle for 1$ at a Bath and Body near you to tide you over till it's released this summer!!!




Pink Hair
I love doing crazy things to my hair the most recent being a pink streak. It feels really great to do something random. I recommend everyone do something spontaneous and spur of the moment even if it's not dying your hair pink :)



Anne Klein Heels
Everyone needs a good pair of black heels and for Christmas I got these awesome Anne Klein heels!!! A well made black heel is a good investment, they may be a little expensive but when you think about how often you will wear them it's totally justified.



Wearing Silver and Gold Together
So I used to think this was a huge no no in fashion but now it is growing on me. My grandmother gave me a gold necklace that used to be hers. Unfortunately all of my jewelery is silver so instead of purchasing new earrings that are gold and digging out my gold class ring I decided to integrate the necklace into my normal daily silver jewelery. Now I am not afraid of silver and gold mixed and I get to wear a piece that means a lot to me.



Simply Vera Leggings
I love that comfy feeling of leggings. I know I will get shot for this by lots of people but I am a believer of leggings as pants. They are so comfortable and make building an outfit an easy task! The simply vera leggings are affordable, flattering, and great quality.




Heating Blanket
I love my heating blanket it is always nice to crawl into a warm bed in the winter time. I definitely think heating blankets are not a thing of the past. Grandma may have one on her bed but you should too because everyone loves to be warm and cozy.




Hot Tea
So I am trying not to drink soda anymore which so far is a fail but besides that lack of commitment I have found a new love. Loose tea, I absolutely love a good tea with cream and sugar(another new finding).



Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick
This is a cheap product that I have loved for a while. Its about 1.99 from CVS or Walmart and will be the best purchase you make for your dry skin. Its the best chap stick and perfect for little dry spots. Although it looks like a sick of glue it is smooth and smells great!





Udderly Smooth Lotion
This was a great discovery. My Mom gave me a gift bag full of this brand of lotion. I have extremely dry skin/eczema and this works wonders. The name udder cream threw me off and no lie kinda grossed me out, along with the thin milky consistency of the lotion but I gave it the benefit of the doubt and so should you. Its affordable, can be bought online, and is so worth it.





Flirt Curl Mascara
This mascara is a favorite new find. It can be bought a Kohls and while it may seem a little pricey if you find a good coupon you can score a deal on it. This gives your lashes a big, full, and long look. I have had so many people tell me how pretty my eyelashes are and it is all thanks to this. I already have long lashes but this makes them pop and adds the perfect touch to your dramatic or classic eye look.

2010 is gone 2011 it's on lol

Wow I can not believe it is 2011 already. This year has brought so much crazy change to my life. I had an awesome New Year, if anyone was wondering. I got to spend it with all of my crazy in a good way friends. This year has brought excitement, disappointment, lose, rejection, and change. Since the beginning of October I have been blogging to all of you out there on what I would call a regular basis. It started off everyday which worked for a while but I quickly realized that there is not something to say everyday so everyday became once and week and once a week became as ofter as possible. I would like to think I have brought you all important information on my life and an easy way to keep track of what I am up to. I can not wait to have another year go by with all of you in blog world!!!!!
